Rx Plan Consultants (RPC) is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan and owned by Keith Bruhnsen. Keith has been involved in benefit program management for over 25 years and currently directs a prescription drug plan with 85,000 members and a $75 million drug spend for a major university.

RPC worked in conjunction with highly experienced clinical pharmacists and PBM senior managers in the design and development of ROPD. RPC is dedicated to helping employers cut through the marketing hype and self-serving interest of PBMs and pharmaceutical companies.

We understand the influence on prescribing physicians by pharmaceutical companies and the patient demands influenced by direct-to-consumer advertising. It is common for an employee who is influenced by advertisements to request their physician prescribe specific expensive branded medications without consideration of lower cost generics. National survey data shows most employers today are experiencing drug trend rates above 10% annually and nearly double what could be accomplished with prudent and assertive management by changing their plan design.

ROPD provides for the employer a plan design for their plan participants to receive the right drug, in the right amount, and at the right time for improved health, productivity, and reduced cost.
